Christopher Zini has been singing and teaching in the Greater Boston area since 2012. As a classically trained Tenor, Zini is an active singer in Lyricora, a professional choir in Greater Boston. Zini's first experience with singing came when he was 10 years old. In a blessed opportunity, he was able to sing for his Grandfather for the first time in 1998. "Pop-Pop" passed away the following year. Pop-Pop wanted with all his heart to sing with the church choir, but believed he wasn't good enough and "couldn't carry a tune in a bucket." Zini's opportunity to sing for his Pop-Pop set him on a path of singing and study rooted in the belief that anyone with a voice can learn how to sing, if only they are taught and invested in. He holds degrees in Music Education with concentrations in Vocal Performance. Zini has been teaching in the Wakefield Public Schools since 2012 with focuses on Primary General Music Education, Choral Education, & Vocal Studies. Zini has received certification in the Feierabend methodologies First Steps in Music and Conversational Solfege.
