Lesson Scheduling

  • Monthly schedule availability will be  published at the beginning of the month prior to allow myself and the student/parent to plan in advance as much as possible (ex. December's availability will be published on November 1st).

  • Students/parents should pre-register for the month’s lessons before the 1st of the month to ensure consistency and accurate billing. You may add lessons throughout the month as needed. If you would like to add a lesson with less than 1 week's notice, please email me specially, as you will not be able to register in the portal with less than 1 week's notice.

  • Lesson scheduling is the responsibility of the student/parent and is on a first-come, first served basis. In order to obtain preferred lesson times, it is recommended that students/parents register in a timely manner.

  • Students/parents are encouraged to make every attempt to schedule consistent, weekly lessons; growth is a process that requires time, commitment, and attainable goal setting.

  • Students/parents are required to pre-register and pre-pay for lessons on a monthly basis for the following reasons:

    • It ensures a high level of commitment for all parties.
    • If a student/parent pre-registers for monthly lessons yet does not prepay and ends up canceling any or all of those lessons, it is not fair to other students, or the teacher, who could have used that time slot.
    • Pre-registering for lessons respects the teacher’s time. Pre-registering ensures that the teacher is committed to your time.
  • Lesson availability can be seen and lessons pre-registered in the Studio Portal via the “Calendar

Cancellation 

  • Students/parents are required to give 24 hour notice to the teacher for any lessons that will be missed. Students/parents must cancel through the portal. If students/parents provide 24 hour notice, they will be granted a Make-Up Credit to use in the future. Make-Up Credits will also be given in the event that the teacher needs to cancel a lesson. Make-Up Credits not used within 60 days will expire. Cash refunds will not be given. If appropriate notice is not given, students/parents will be required to pay for the missed lesson and will not receive a Make-Up Credit.

Payment 

  • Payments should be made online (credit/debit or PayPal).

  • You will receive an invoice on the 1st of every month for the pre-registered lessons for that month.

  • Invoices are due upon receipt. Payment can be made directly from the invoice. Select “Click Here to Pay Online.”
  • To have invoices paid automatically upon receipt, you can securely add a credit card to your account and choose “Auto Pay.” Click HERE to set up “Auto Pay.”

Materials Fee

  • Students/Parents will be charged a one-time $20 materials fee that will cover the cost of music for the year. This charge will be applied to the first month’s invoice.

Student/Parent Profile

  • Students/Parents should keep their profile up-to-date with current contact information.
  • To edit your profile, please go into your Studio Portal and access your profile via the “Settings” menu. Click HERE to access.
